Loving Art Since 2011

Art Box Gallery began in response to the huge earthquake that devastated Christchurch New Zealand in 2011. Originally planned as a temporary initiative Art Box has endured. We celebrated ten years of service to art lovers in 2021. The gallery is now an iconic part of the local arts scene with an outstanding reputation for integrity and service.

Our physical gallery in Loftus Street attracts many visitors but we also have an increasing online following. We frequently courier paintings and limited edition prints to purchasers throughout New Zealand and sometimes beyond. To help our online community and to make payment for artworks easier we decided to start this arts portal called artboxgalleryonline.com

Whether you are an experienced art collector or just getting started there is always something of interest at Art Box. Our online purchasers also enjoy the reassurance that comes from dealing with a gallery with a long-established physical presence. The gallery is co-owned by well known Christchurch artist Beverley Frost who is always happy to share advice and tips on getting the best from art purchases.
