Katie Ross

Katie has a deep passion and respect for Roman and Greek art and also the 'old masters' Leonardo and Vermeer. She is also greatly influenced by the impressionists especially Cezanne'. Occasionally she tries to paint a depiction of an old masters canvas (as all artists ) and she can only imagine how it would have been for them to achieve such beauty, form, and perfection. Ancient tombs and frescos have captured her interest and have been a great inspiration with the development of her style.

She loves working with a combination of plaster and acrylics, together they create a wonderful combination and the results are extremely interesting. She is a fairly diverse artist and lately have been developing a new flora and fauna style of which has had pleasing results.
